Multnomah Days Parade and Booth

Join the SWTrails Team walking in the Multnomah Days Parade Tomorrow
We will have a banner and will be lined up on SW 39th. Wear your SWTrails Vest if you have one and want to, bring your children, strollers, dogs, cats, ferrets as long as they are on a leash. This is an opportunity to show your support for SWTrails and to have a good time. More details below. Bring a non perishable food item for Neighborhood House if you can. Line up before the start of the parade at 10.

AT THE PARADE – THE BIG DAYPark your float/vehicle/team on SW 39th Ave. Walk up 39th til you find the banner, join the team. Access this from SW Spring Garden off of Capitol Hwy. (It hits Capitol Hwy “above” Handy Andy’s, south of the village – see map.) EMERGENCY REGULATIONS REQUIRE 15’ OF ACCESS DOWN THE CENTER OF THE ROAD.

Have fun, be patient and flexible. There will be a lot of people, and everybody is here to make this a wonderful community day.
Review with your team members that any CANDY or other items to be distributed MUST BE TO THE SIDE OF YOUR ENTRY. DRIVERS should remain OBSERVANT, especially for CHILDREN!! SWTrails will not be providing any candy to toss, but you may if you like.
Once we start, KEEP MOVING.! Monitors will prompt slow-moving groups to giddyup.
WATCH FOR CHILDREN. THROW TO THE SIDE, NOT IN FRONT OF YOUR FLOAT!!
Finish by turning up SW 32nd  past the Lucky Lab or down SW 31st past the Art Center. We will take the banner to the booth located at the north end of the bridge, on the north side, come by and visit us. We will be there til about 4 pm.
11.   Come back and visit us for the street fair: food, drink, kid stuff, music, art/craft fair ‘til 4pm.

THANK YOU FOR BEING PART OF THIS!!
