Maricara Park work party meeting place
SW Trails first regular monthly Work Party for 2017 will be this coming Thurdsay February 2nd at Maricara Natural Area. We will meet at the West entrance SW 30th and Maricara St and work from 9AM to Noon. As always we will be guided by the Parks Lands Stewardship folks. We will be doing tread work, storm debris removal, nitching for water management, and brushing. With the recent storms and snow our urban parks trails need a lot of love, so all are welcome no skill required and fun to be had by all. You can get to Maricara by heading to Jackson Middle school on SW 35th taking Cap Hwy and Huber, then straight down Maricara St to Park Entrance. See the link below.

Attire should be sturdy shoes and work cloths. Parks will bring water, tools, snacks, gloves. Wear layers as it is still winter but the weather looks good for Thursday.
