Friday Nov. 10th 9AM to NOON April Hill Park
SW Trails is having a work party over at April Hill Park on Friday Nov 10th from 9am to Noon to finish up the last 100 feet of our path into the Natural Area. Parks Lands Stewardship folks will bring over the gravel we need and a few tools and they have lined out the work to be done. On our regular work party Nov 2nd we got 200 feet completed but ran out of gravel, time, and energy before we finished the route.
We will be cutting out sod for the last 100 feet and scraping down to about a 3-4 inch depth and then adding gravel and compacting the gravel surface of the new path.
We need you to bring gloves and if you have a square blade spade or shovel, hoe, green grubber, polaski, or wheel barrow, we could use a couple of those.
Parking for this work party can be at either end of the park SW Logan Ct. on the East end and SW Miles st. on the West end.

Attire should be sturdy shoes and work cloths. Bring your own gloves. Also it is fall so bring along some rain gear just in case. We look forward to seeing you out on the trail.
