DESCRIPTION:3rd Saturday Walk Feb. 17th\, 2024\nStart time:  9am (arrive at 8:45 so we can leave by 9am)\nName: Hillsdale Park – Dosch Lane Loop\nStart Location: Ida B Wells HS behind the bleachers by the food carts\nNeighborhood: Hillsdale\, Bridlemile\nDistance: 3.0 miles\nPace:  2 mph\nElevation change:  300 ft.\nBus Information:  TriMet 45 stops 929 and 955 are out front on BH Hwy\nSpecial Notes:  This hike continues the walking partnership with Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) \nCome on out and join SW Trails on Saturday Feb. 17th for our 3rd Saturday Walk. These walks are designed to offer a shorter distance of 2-4 miles and a slower pace of around 2mph walking opportunity. This month Deb Small and others will lead us on a walk through Hillsdale Park\, down Dosch Lane with its several heritage trees\, and down some picturesque Hillsdale streets. As always\, check the weather for the day of the walk and wear layers for the best hiking experience. \nBring a snack\, water\, good footwear\, and dress appropriately for the weather (raingear? sunglasses?). Note that smoking on our walks is not permitted for health reasons. Kids and well-behaved pets on leash are welcome.
