DESCRIPTION:SWTrails/PBOT 3rd Saturday Walk\, June 15\, 9am to 12pm\nJackson MS Maricara and Marshall Park Loop\nMeet at Jackson Middle School’s Flagpole \nBrian\, \n3rd Saturday Walk June 15\, 2024\nStart time:  9am (arrive at 8:45 so we can leave by 9am)\nName: Jackson to Maricara Marshall Park Loop\nStart Location: Jackson Middle School Flagpole\nDistance: 3.5 miles\nPace:  2 mph\nElevation change:  315 ft. \nSpecial Notes:  This hike continues the walking partnership with Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) \nCome on out and join SW Trails on Saturday Jun 15th for our 3rd Saturday Walk. These walks are designed to offer a shorter distance of 2-4 miles and a slower pace of around 2mph walking opportunity. As always\, check the weather for the day of the walk and wear layers for the best hiking experience. \nBring a snack\, water\, good footwear\, and dress appropriately for the weather (raingear? sunglasses?). Note that smoking on our walks is not permitted for health reasons. Kids and well-behaved pets on leash are welcome.
