DESCRIPTION:SWTrails 3rd Saturday Walk May 17\, 2025\nMeet at IB Wells HS \nName:  Wells\, Hillsdale Park\, Stephens Creek Loop\nLeader: Deb Small\nStart Location:  IB Wells Parking Lot Near the Food Carts\nStart Time: 9 am (arrive 10-15 min. early so we can start promptly at 9am)\nDistance:  3.4 Mi.\nElevation Change:  347 ft.\nAverage Pace:  2 mph\nBus Information:  Many routes stop at Sunset and Capital Hwy.  Due to schedule changes\, check Tri Met for bus information\nSpecial Notes:  Rain is predicted. May be some challenging steps and mud.  Bring walking sticks if you want.\n\nWe will meet in the IB Wells HS parking lot near the food carts at Sunset and Capital Hwy.  Please arrive by 8:45am to start at 9:00am. \nWe’ll head up Sunset from Wells HS to Boundary\, where we will turn left and walk down to the bridge that crosses the gulley behind Robert Gray Middle School and walk through Hillsdale Park.  We’ll then cross BH Hwy and go down then up the steps leading across Fanno Creek Crossing and proceed to the Red Electric Bridge. We’ll wend our way to Bertha Blvd and the Stephens Creek Crossing as we begin to head back to where we started\, going through the Texas Wetlands along the way. \nMud-worthy shoes as well as hiking sticks are recommended for those who usually need them.   It is expected to be wet so be prepared. \nBring water and snacks and dress appropriately for the weather.
