DESCRIPTION:Name:  Re-Living the Red Electric Line\nLeader: Tyler Weber\nStart Location: Meet at Multnomah Arts Center \, lower west parking Lot on Capital Hwy\nStart Time:    5:45am (arrive 10-15 min. early so we can start promptly at 5:45am)\nDistance:  5 miles (estimated ~1 hour total duration)\nElevation Change:  71\nAverage Pace:  ~10 min/mile\nBus Information:   Check TriMet for bus information \n \nCome join us for an early morning run to jump-start your day. We’ll be following the historic route of the Red Electric Line\, and using sections of SWTrails’  4\, 6\, and 7 as well as one of our major projects\, the Red Electric Trail.  As it will still be dark wear something that will be visible. Headlamps or other light device would be useful as well. \nOur run will start at the Multnomah Arts center parking lot west of the building in the lower parking lot on Capital Hwy.  Tempurature is predicted to be in the mid 40s when beginning the run so dress appropriately.  No rain is predicted so it should be dry. \nWear running-appropriate shoes and bring water and a snack as needed. \nHope to see you there.\nTyler \nHave a favorite hike?  Let us know if you have one and would like to lead.
