DESCRIPTION:When:    Saturday\, Jan. 15\, 9-11:30am\nMeet At: Parking lot behind the Hillsdale Food Carts\nWalk:     Hillsdale Park/Dosch Park Lane Loop\nJoin SWTrails as we walk in the new year on Saturday January 15\, for our 3rd Saturday Walk.  These walks offer a walking opportunity with a distance of 2-4 miles at a moderate pace.  This month we will walk down and then up the stairs built by SWTrails on the SW 25th right-of-way\, through Hillsdale Park and head to Dosch Park Lane where we will find a cluster of heritage trees before we go back to where we started.  We will be on paved streets except when walking through the park.  Elevation gain is about 200 ft. Please arrive 10-15 min. early so we can begin walking right at 9am. \nBecause COVID infection numbers are still high\, we would like our walkers to be vaccinated.    We also ask that you comply with current State recommendations to maintain the recommended social distance between other walkers who are not part of your family or personal pod. Be prepared to mask up for our beginning group talk and if social distancing is impossible while walking.  Unvaccinated walkers must mask up for the entire walk. \nBring a snack\, water\, good footwear\, and dress for the weather\, raingear?\, sunglasses?. Note that smoking on our walks is not permitted for health reasons. Kids and well-behaved pets are welcome. \nHope to see you there.
