DESCRIPTION:September 18\, 2021\, meet at 8:45am\, leave at 9am\nMeet at the Back Side of Ida B. Wells High School\nTitle:  A Park\, Hillsdale Park Loop\nLength:  2.95 miles\nElevation change:  293 ft. \nJoin us as we explore the neighborhood surrounding Stephens Creek Natural Area\, walk along SWTrail #3 past the Frisbee Golf Course\, down to A Park\, up to Hillsdale City Park\, and then circle back to where we started. There are a few steep stairs\, so bring walking sticks if you need them. \n \nAs always\, well behaved dogs on leash and children are welcome.  Note that smoking on our walks is not permitted for health reasons.  Please be prepared: dress for the weather\, bring water and a snack if you like. As per current COVID guidelines\, bring a mask and maintain a 6-foot distance between walkers other than your personal family or pod and for other walkers we may encounter along the way.  We hope to see you there.

DESCRIPTION:  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \nPress Release: \nJoin me for coffee and a walk so I can hear your thoughts\, concerns\, and questions directly from you! We are partnering with SW Trails\, a community group in District 1 that promotes wellness and supports safe walking and biking in SW Portland\, on a walk through our neighborhoods! \nOur Steptember walk is on Saturday\, 9/25. We will meet at the Multnomah Arts Center (MAC) at 9:00 am under the covered basketball court to gather  and talk. We’ll bring coffee\, please bring a reusable mug if you have one! At 9:45 am\, we will depart from the MAC on our walk mapped by SW Trails – our route will take us through SW neighborhoods for ~2 miles starting and ending at the MAC in Multnomah Village. You are more than welcome to stay for coffee and conversation and then depart\, just show up for the walk\, or stick around for both! Whichever you choose\, I look forward to seeing you soon! \nWhile both events will take place outdoors\, we will promote safe physical distancing and ask that you wear a mask to protect yourself and others from COVID-19. \n
