Ashcreek Neighborhood Association will be conducting a work party to improve walkability of 300 feet + of one of the urban connector trails on October 19th, starting at 9AM but you are welcome to show up anytime between 9 AM and 3 PM and stay as long as you like. The trail is located at SW 57th and Dolph Ct (meet here) and runs East/West between SW 57th and SW 56th.

Volunteers should bring work gloves, long sleeves, long pants, sturdy footwear, and water/snacks. Tools we could use would be hedge shears, lopper, hoe, flat blade and regular shovel to help improve the trail bed a wheelbarrow might be useful as well. The work will consist of scraping out a 30 inch path bed and placing gravel as well as removal of blackberries and trail side vegetation.   We hope to see you there. Please contact Dave Manville Ashcreek Trailsperson at daville50@comcast.net or 503-753-8186 if you have questions or want to let us know you will be there or make a financial donation to our project.
