Volkswalk for Teddy Bears in SW Portland March 15

The Cedar Milers Volkswalking club is sponsoring a 10 K walk in SW Portland on St. Patrick’s Day, March 15. You can start the walk anytime between 9am and 1pm and walk either 5K or 10K. The walk starts at Hillsdale Brewery & Pub House, 1505 SW Sunset Blvd, Portland OR.

Comments: This event is our annual Teddy Bear Collection for the
Washington County Sheriff’s Office Buddy Bear program. Please consider
donating new or gently used teddy bears for children who are being
assisted/transported by police officers.

Exit 297 (Terwilliger Blvd), RIGHT to stay on Terwilliger Blvd, LEFT on
OR10, RIGHT on Sunset Blvd; US26 EASTBOUND: Exit 71 (Scholls Ferry Rd),
LEFT on Humprhrey Blvd, RIGHT on Patton Rd, LEFT on SW Dosch Rd, LEFT on Sunset Blvd.

Here’s the latest parking info: Parking will be available at Woodrow
Wilson High School approximately 2 blocks from the start. Please DO NOT
park in the Hillsdale Pub and Brewery Lot or the Realty Company lot or
the Multnomah Library lot. All are reserved for patrons of the business
and have policies about towing non-business related cars.
If you reach SW Capitol Hwy from Terwilliger Blvd, turn LEFT at Sunset
(Pathfinder instructions to start location says right) following Sunset
past Food Park into school property (Wall along school says Home of the
Trojans).
If you reach SW Capitol Hwy via SW Bertha Blvd, turn RIGHT at Sunset
(Pathfinder instructions to start location says left)
Once you have parked, simply return along the road from the school to
cross SW Capitol Hwy onto Sunset. Hillsdale Pub and Brewery is the 2nd
building on the right.
