SW Trails walk June 14

Saturday, June 14  9:00 am

Pete Schmierbach will lead the walk on Sat. June 14 to Bishop’s Close.  We will walk about 6 miles with 500 feet elevation gain.  We will meet at Wilson High School at 8:45 am for a 9:00 am departure to carpool to the Lewis and Clark Law School parking lot.

We’ll go down through the Lewis and Clark campus, follow a trail down to the river and go along side streets along the river to Bishop’s Close.  Then to return we cross highway 43, pass Riverdale School, take back roads to the Tryon Creek Bike trail and return to Lewis and Clark Law School parking lot.

Bring a snack and water and dress for the weather.  Well-behaved dogs are allowed.  They must be on leash.  For health reasons, there is no smoking on SW Trails walks.  Meet behind the bleachers at Wilson High School (Sunset Blvd. and Capitol Highway).  For more information, contact Sharon Fekety by sending a message with the following form:
