There is a path building work party scheduled by Ashcreek Neighbors to finish up a perimeter path around Smith school (9001 SW Marigold St) this Weekend Nov 22nd Sat and Nov 23rd Sun. We will be working from 9am to 1pm each day finishing up the 900 ft of all weather path around the West side of the playfield.
If you’d like to work up an appetite for Thanksgiving this is a good opportunity. Stop on over at any time of your convenience and give us a few hours, it is greatly appreciated. We could use wheel barrows and flat bladed shovels. The work will involve digging out a 30in by 4in tread path and then filling with street grindings. Portland Public Schools are providing dumpsters for the diggings and we will have shelter and goodies for the workers. Work cloths, gloves, boots are recommended.
