The February 14 walk will be led by Rick Kappler. It will be about 5.5 miles with 200 feet elevation gain. From Wilson High School, we’ll carpool to Gabriel Park. Then we’ll go west on the sidewalk on SW Vermont St., north on SW 45th St. to SW Ilinois Ave. Then we’ll cross SW Shattuck Rd. to Alpenrose Dairy. After taking a trail to Cedar Sinai Park, we’ll go west to SW 65th Ave., west on Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway, South on SW Oleson Rd. and then we’ll take trail 3 back to Gabriel Park.
Meet behind the bleachers at Wilson High School (Sunset Blvd. and Capitol Highway) and be ready to go at 9:00 am. Bring a snack and water and dress for the weather.
Well behaved dogs are allowed. They must be on leash. For health reasons, there is no smoking on SW Trails walks.
