The Portland City Council is considering the trails policy on Wednesday. SW Trails will be presenting some amendments to the trails policy. In addition SW Trails (Hans Steuch and Patty Barker) will be submitting the following testimony (22 pages of it) about the wisdom of adopting these amendments, Lee Buhler will present some additional testimony, Glenn Bridger has provided some written testimony and John Gould will add more testimony.

1. Leading regular monthly hikes.
2. Organizing volunteer work parties to build and maintain trails.
3. Working with city, county and state planners to develop safe pedestrian routes.
4. Advocating for safe walking/biking in southwest Portland.
