The March walk will be led by Dave Manville.  From Wilson High School we will walk West mostly along the route of SW Trail #3 through several natural areas and parks to the new April Hill Park Natural Area where we will pause at the new overlook wetland viewing stand.  Then we will take the Natural Area trail back through the park and return to Wilson High School via Multnomah Village and some additional parks along the way.  The walk is about 6 miles with about 300 feet elevation gain.

We’ll meet behind the bleachers, near the food carts, at Wilson High School (SW Sunset Blvd. and SW Capitol Highway) and be ready to go by 9:00 am.  Well behaved dogs are allowed.  They must be on leash.  For health reasons, there is no smoking on SW Trails walks.

For more information, or to volunteer to lead a walk in your neighborhood, contact Sharon Fekety (fekety@hevanet.com).
