The Saturday, September 9 walk will be led by Rick Kappler and will showcase parts of the future Red Electric Trail.  We will meet at Wilson High School and carpool to Gabriel Park.  We will walk on Trail 7 to Maplewood, crossing Oleson Rd. into Bauman Park by Fanno Creek. Then we’ll walk on side streets in Hayhurst, pointing out parts of the future Red Electric Trail.  The walk is 5.5 miles with 200 feet elevation gain.

Meet behind the bleachers, near the food carts, at Wilson High School (SW Sunset Blvd. and SW Capitol Highway) and be ready to go at 9:00 am.  Well behaved dogs are allowed.  They must be on leash.  For health reasons, there is no smoking on SW Trails walks.

For more information, or to volunteer to lead a walk in your neighborhood, contact Virginia Hendrickson (vehendric@comcast.net)

Co-Sponsored by SW Trails PDX and Hillsdale Neighborhood Association.
