Special Notes: As this walk is relatively flat and without stairs, walking sticks are probably not needed. However, bring them along if you want.
We will be exploring the Garden Home neighborhood on this walk. We will head north and walk along the Portland Golf Course then head east to walk through the Garden Home Community Center grounds on our way to possibly view a beaver dam in Hideaway Park. We will then begin the return loop by walking to Moonshadow Park as we head back to Garden Home Park.
At this time rain is predicted to start later in the day than our hike. Watch the weather predictions and dress appropriately for the morning’s forecast.
Bring water and snacks and dress appropriately for the weather. Kids and well-behaved pets on leash are welcome, but no smoking for the health and consideration of others.
