Walk Sept 27 Eagle Point Celebration

On Saturday, Sept. 27, SW Trails will lead a 5 mile walk to the celebration of the recent acquisition by The City of Portland and Portland Parks and Recreation of the Eagle Point property on Terwilliger Parkway. We’ll leave Wilson High School at 9:00 am to walk down Trail 3 to Terwilliger Parkway. We’ll walk over 2 miles, to Lowell St. and the property. At 10:00 am there will be exhibits and refreshments and at 10:30 am a few speeches. Then we’ll return via the Parkway and Cheltenham St. The walk will be led by Sharon Fekety and Virginia Hendrickson.

We’ll meet behind the bleachers at Wilson High School (Sunset Blvd. and Capitol Highway) at 9:00 am. Bring a snack and water and dress for the weather.  No preregistration is required.
