Project: Tread reconstruction, apply gravel to stair treads, trail armoring

Hello trail workers, coming up soon this Thursday Sept 3^rd from 9AM til Noon SW Trails and Portland Parks City Nature will be conducting another 1^st Thursday Work Party. This month we are working in Dickinson Park and Dickenson Woods. Activities will be armoring trail surface wet spots with gravel, brushing out the trail, closing some demand trails, possibly rearranging some blocks of concrete the trail crosses among other activities. See the map and Google maps link below for the meet point where SW Trail 5 crosses SW 55^th  in the Crestwood Neighborhood. Please join us if you can and as always wear sturdy footwear and long pants and sleeves are recommended. Portland parks will provide all the tools and some water n snacks.

Parking at this site is a little limited but there is parking above the meet point at the play structure and down on SW 57^th and Huddleston if necessary.
