SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 9:00 am
The February walk will be led by Pete Schmierbach. From Wilson High School we will take back roads and trails to Fairmont Blvd, then stairs to Healy Heights Tower and walk the road to Council Crest Park. Then we’ll take the Marquam Trail down to OHSU and continue down to Terwilliger Blvd. and the Chart House where we’ll take local roads back to Hillsdale. The walk will be about 6.3 miles with 800 feet elevation gain.
Meet behind the bleachers, near the food carts, at Wilson High School (SW Sunset Blvd. and SW Capitol Highway) and be ready to go at 9:00 am. Bring a snack and water and dress for the weather. Well behaved dogs are allowed. They must be on leash. For health reasons, there is no smoking on SW Trails walks.
