This months 1st Thursday Work Party with Portland Parks and Recreation City Nature will be up at Himes Park on Terwilliger on Thursday February 4th from 9AM to Noon.
Our monthly work party with Portland Parks and recreation City Nature and SW Trails.org will be in George HImes Park on Thursday Feb 4th from 9AM to Noon. We will be meeting at the bottom of SW Trail #3 at Iowa Street a block West of Corbett and almost under I-5. Work for this Month will include replacing some damaged steps, armoring a section of the trail and installing some grade dips to help get water flowing off to the side of the trail. The work will be conducted about 1/8 mile down from Terwilliger and 1/8 mile up from the bottom at Iowa. We would love to have you join us.

Parks will provide some coffee, water, snacks, and all the gloves-tools and material for the project. You should wear sturdy work clothing and boots. This will be our first work party of 2016 and the first of 2 at George Himes SW Trail #3. There is a lot to get done on this project so all the help we can get will be appreciated.
