Woods Memorial Park, Meet at the Zig Zag trail
SW Trails regular monthly first Thursday Work Party on June 2nd will be at Woods Memorial Natural Area more commonly known as Woods Park. As always we will be guided by Parks Lands Stewardship folks. We will be doing tread work, rock walls, maybe a turnpike rebuild and brushing. Quite an extensive amount of work to be done and all the volunteers we can get are welcome.

Woods Park can be reached from the South off I-5 Exit Capital Hwy and left on Taylors Ferry and right on SW 48th then down a couple of blocks to the park entrance, also I-5 Multnomah Blvd exit and out to SW 45th then left and up to the park entrance works also. Once parked at either of the two park entrances go down Woods Parkway to the Zig Zag trail where we will meet to begin the work party.
Attire should be sturdy shoes, work cloths. Parks will bring water, tools, snacks, gloves. Wear layers as it is Spring and any weather is possible.
