Monthly Work Party Thursday May 5th
9AM to Noon
Working the 4T trail
Meet at the Portland Children’s Museum

This coming Thursday on Cinco De Mayo (May 5th 9AM to NOON), SW Trails will be having our regular monthly work party with Portland Parks Lands Stewardship. This month we are doing brushing, hinge cutting, armoring, and other trail tread work on the 4T trail (also called the Marquam trail) over North of the ZOO at Hwy 26 heading up to Patton Street. We will be meeting at the Portland Children’s Museum parking lot. Parks will have FREE parking passes and you can get there on the MAX Zoo stop or the Bus #63. Look for the big Parks pick-up with a cone on top as the meeting point. See this link –> https://goo.gl/maps/SVWhteP1LGk for getting to the Portland Children’s Museum

Attire should be sturdy shoes, work cloths. Parks will bring water, tools, snacks, gloves. Wear layers as it is Spring and any weather is possible. Looking forward to seeing you at this work party, the 4T is a premier Portland trail and getting it in shape for the large number of summer visitors is worth the effort.
