The Saturday, Nov. 11 walk will be led by Mark Turner. The walk will start at Wilson High School and go west passing through Hillsdale Park and Albert Kelly Park to Hamilton Park and the Bridlemile neighborhood before returning to Hillsdale. This loop is about 6 miles long and goes up and down and up and down a number of times with the uphills totaling about 500 feet. The hike has two quarter mile sections of informal trails which have steep sections which may be muddy during wet weather.

Meet behind the bleachers, near the food carts, at Wilson High School (SW Sunset Blvd. and SW Capitol Highway) and be ready to go at 9:00 am. Well behaved dogs are allowed. They must be on leash. For health reasons, there is no smoking on SW Trails walks.

For more information, or to volunteer to lead a walk in your neighborhood, contact Sharon Fekety (fekety@hevanet.com).
