SW Trails monthly first Thursday Work Party on November 2nd will be at April Hill Park from 9AM to Noon. This work party is replacement for the cancelled work we tried to do in the super hot and smoky days of early September. The weather will be cooler now and the ground a lot softer, so come on out and help us work on the new trail from the center of the park down to the new natural area. Parking for this work party can be at either end of the park SW Logan Ct. on the East end and SW Miles st. on the West end.
As always our work is guided by the Portland Parks Lands Stewardship folks. and Parks will bring all the tools gloves, and materials we need and also, coffee, snacks, water, and usually some fruit. On these work parties it is not necessary to stay for the whole event and you can work at whatever level your skill and energy allows. It is just great to meet the neighbors and get a little trail work in.

Attire should be sturdy shoes and work cloths. Also it is fall so bring along some rain gear just in case. We look forward to seeing you out on the trail.
