March Work Party

This work party has been RESCHEDULED from March 2nd.

Our SWTrails Work Party for Thursday March 9th from 9AM to NOON will be a special one. We will begin construction of the new trail from just below Owl Creek Bridge up through the Frey Property to Taylors Ferry Rd. Gather at 9489 SW 18th which is the north and west entrance to the park at 9AM.  If that parking area is full then there is on street parking on SW Collins Ct just across the street.

We need a good size crew for this work, first brushing out the route, then cutting in the trail, and finish doing tread work and adding some drains to create our masterpiece trail. Let me know (just respond to this email) if you can attend this work party and it is OK to just come on over on Thursday. Letting me know ahead helps the Parks trail staff size the material and tools we need to be on site. If you just want to stop by and check out the route that is OK also we love to show off what we do.
