SW Trails regular monthly first Thursday Work Party on May 4th will at Council Crest Circle we will be working on the West Side Trail starting at 9AM and going until Noon. Our meeting point will be at the circle drive, look for the big white PPR truck. As always we will be guided by the Portland Parks Lands Stewardship folks. We will be doing tread work, armoring, hinge cutting, grading, and possibly some steps and or little rock walls. And because it is Spring there will always be brushwork to accomplish. There is lots to do up on the crest with the winter we have had and we can use all the helpers we can get. Below is a map link to the site, and a directional photo.

Attire should be sturdy shoes, work cloths. Parks will bring water, coffee, tools, snacks, gloves. All are welcome and I am looking forward to seeing you at this work party as we try and literally work our way out of the wettest winter ever!
