The June 10th walk will be led by Don Baack. This walk was cancelled in December because of bad weather. We will walk Trail #6 from Hillsdale up to Fairmont, then through SWHRL neighborhood of Portland Heights to the end of Goose Hollow at SW 18th and Jefferson, then returning by MAX and bus. It is 6 miles, 700 feet up and 1000 feet down. Bring bus tickets or money for bus fare, $2.50 for adults under 65, $1.25 for seniors over 65.
We will meet behind the bleachers, near the food carts, at Wilson High School, (SW Sunset Blvd. and SW Capitol Highway) and be ready to depart at 9:00 am. Well behaved dogs are allowed on leash but they will have to either ride the bus as service dogs or you can have someone pick you up. For health reasons, there is no smoking on SW Trails walks.
